Our Goal
Baxter Ranch is situated in North Texas Hill Country along the Old Chisholm Trail, an 800-mile stock route used post-Civil War to drive millions of Texas longhorns north to railheads in Kansas.
We are a small family owned sustainable cattle ranch. Our focus is on having a small, happy and healthy herd bred from high quality registered Longhorn stock, along with some Corriente ladies too.
